Noodles and Dumplings - Not Homemade but so good!

I've been having such a great week!  My post went live over at the I Am Enough Collaborative, and I got some great feedback from it.  I really appreciate you all taking a look, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Do you shop at Whole Foods?  Today was a "what can I find in the fridge" day, and you'll see I tried a new Vegan offering I found at Whole Foods earlier this week.  This is Buckwheat Soba Noodles in a light sesame oil dressing with carrots and tofu.  It is delicious!
It's Macro & Vegan but you'd never know it! Yum!

I added it to some Macro Vegan Shanghai Dumplings also from Whole Foods.

Thank you Whole Foods for a light and tasty meal!  I've never seen this brand at Whole Foods before, but they've got Pad Thai, Sesame Noodle, and lots of other flavors in their prepared food section.  I found the Shanghai Dumplings (made by the same company) in the open prepared section that they portion out for you.

I think I'm going to get myself some Buckwheat noodles the next time I'm out and make a sesame/peanut dressing for it, add some scallions, some rice vinegar, carrots, tofu and snow peas.  Yum, I'm already looking forward to my next meal!

The Shanghai Dumplings were good also, but I would have liked them better if they had a little more kick.  I drizzled some chili oil to them and it helped a bit.

Anywhooo...suggestions for your next shopping trip!

  1. Congrats on your post success through the " I Am Enough Collaborative!" I'm trying to find it, but your link is not working.

I miss Whole Foods so much sometimes that it's slightly tortuous to read about it on the web ... ah well, one can't have everything, right?

  2. Hi Jeanne,

Just read your great post on I Am Enough.

I live in the Uk but was in New York last month and was delighted to find those dumplings in JFK airport of all places!
