I love this look - and it's SOOC

This is a view from inside our Aix-en-Provence apartment one sunny afternoon.  It's definitely a little blown out, but somehow I love the wistfulness it gives the photo.

I darkened it up a little just to play, but I do like the first one better!

Back in 1996, my friends and I took a trip to Aix-en-Provence to visit our "old" semester abroad home locations.  I had spent a semester in Avignon, France and my friend KCJ had spent a semester in Siena, Italy.  In order to visit & explore more while we were there, we rented a great little apartment from Wellesley College in Aix.  Lots of great memories there, including my birthday dinner complete with fondue (made in a really dusty pot).  Whoops!  Somehow, we still made it fun!
